About me

I live in a quiet little village in Surrey, UK, with my fiancée and son. We all enjoy going out for walks and taking in the beauty of the countryside! I class myself as a bit of an adrenaline junkie, I've done a sky-dive and numerous bungee jumps - which I must say, certainly gets your adrenaline pumping. Next on my agenda, is to take up paragliding! I enjoy watching films - Action, Horror, and especially ones with great CGI.

I've always been interested in drawing, I decided to pursue a course in graphic design. I started off working in a repro house, learning all there is to know about print, producing film and bromides (old skool), even Chromaline proofs. Then I moved onto design and I'm self-taught in Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Dreamweaver, Flash, QuarkXpress and some 3D applications.

I am passionate about creating something out of nothing, and feel I can put my hand to anything from print to digital. No matter what you think you know - there's always something new to learn about both medias.

My greatest skills are Photoshop - image manipulation and touching-up (easy now)! And Illustrator - creating logos, re-drawing objects in vector format and even the 3D tools. I also enjoy animating in Flash and building interactive presentations. Over the last few years I've picked up building websites using HTML, CSS and jQuery.

This website that I've built will contain some of the work that I've done, and will be updated regularly - please take a look at the portfolio section. If you'd like to get in touch with me, you can from the contact page.
